Worcester Physiotherapy Clinic Limited was formed in April 2021 off the back
of aspirations to provide a modern, science-based, results-driven Physiotherapy
Clinic in Worcester. Word spread fast about our great services and we have
grown into an established clinic offering a fantastic range of effective Physiotherapy
services and receiving raving reviews for it!  I am the Lead Physiotherapist here and cover
all aspects of Physiotherapy from Chronic back pain, to acute Sports Injuries,
with the aim of achieving fast but long-lasting results!

After graduating with First Class Honours in Physiotherapy at Brunel
University, I achieved a Post-Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Medicine.
I’ve since gone on to work within Professional Sport, Private Practice and the
NHS, giving me a diverse experience of all types of injuries and issues!

About me…I love sport! I like to think of myself as a jack of all (some)
trades, master of none! Some of my favourites being canoeing, golf, football,
and hiking! And when I’m not in clinic or on the river, you’ll find me doing
some sort of DIY or Gardening…

Charli

Specialist Sports & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

My interest in physiotherapy started during my early sporting career, particularly through playing rugby and working as a personal trainer. I completed my BSc at the University of Birmingham and graduated in 2016.

Over the years I have gained a vast amount of experience working in the NHS across various physiotherapy specialities- within Birmingham, Worcester and Hereford. This includes intensive care, paediatrics, respiratory, musculoskeletal and neurology. This means I have a good all-round understanding and therefore can treat all my patients holistically.

I currently work full time as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist within the NHS. I am up to date with the current evidence base and rehabilitation protocols. I really enjoy helping people recover from injury and return to their normal activities. I am particularly experienced in post-operative rehabilitation, for example: ACL reconstruction, spinal decompression, fracture fixation, rotator cuff repair, joint replacements, and arthroscopies to name a few.

Outside of work I enjoy running, CrossFit, hiking and Labradors!

Chloe

Specialist Orthopaedic and Sports Physiotherapist

My journey into physiotherapy started later in life following a break from education once completing my A Levels. During this time, I discovered a passion for the gym and performance-based training to underpin my sport. Thus, I went to university and completed my undergraduate degree in sports strength and conditioning. I really enjoyed this degree and managed to work alongside sports scholars at the university and with Bristol City football club academy. However, I really found my passion within the rehabilitation modules which led me to study a masters in Physiotherapy.

I enjoy all areas of physiotherapy but particularly enjoy managing lower limb injuries and working with those with the goal of returning to sport. I have worked at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic hospital and have experience in post-operative rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and managing general musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain and tendinopathies. Being able to apply strength and conditioning principles within my practice is advantageous and allows for a creative and periodised approach to rehabilitation. I am really excited to lead Physiotherapist of the ACL Rehab & Performance Plan here at the clinic.

Outside of work my hobbies include the gym, playing netball, hiking, travelling and finding the best coffee and brunch spots.

Sam

Specialist Sports & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

I qualified from the University of Southampton in 2012 and spent the first part of my career completing rotations across the NHS, later specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy as a Senior Physiotherapist. I have worked extensively in Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Hydrotherapy and most recently in Musculoskeletal clinics within Worcestershire.

I have a keen interest in working with all types of joint and muscle problems throughout the body and I love helping people get back to what they enjoy doing. I have a special interest in lower limb rehabilitation particularly the management of running injury after completing further training in this area.
Alongside my clinic here, I also work as First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapist for a local GP surgery.

When I’m not at work I’m kept busy by my young family, I love to keep active with football, cycling, running and DIY projects.

Chris

Sports Massage Therapist and Strength & Conditioning Coach

I am a Loughborough University Sport and Exercise Science Graduate and have worked within strength and conditioning for 12 years including elite sport for Olympic and paralympic medallists in various sports including Weightlifting, Volleyball, Golf, Cycling, Athletics, Basketball, Rugby, Football, Badminton, Table tennis and Swimming.

Alongside my MSc in applied sport and exercise I also completed my Sports Massage accreditation, which stemmed from first-hand experience of its benefits throughout my 15 year career as part of the GB and England weightlifting team. This for me formed a vital part of staying injury free, optimising recovery, managing stress and reducing time spent rehabilitating injuries when preparing for multiple commonwealth games, European and worlds championships.

My sports massage work has seen me treat a range of clients from the every-day desk worker and recreational sports people to full time elite athletes including Tokyo Olympic Weightlifting silver medallist Emily Campbell, Team AOD Crossfit games athletes and international and commonwealth games weightlifting athletes.

Day to day you’ll also find me coaching weightlifting to the masses from complete beginners up to international level athletes. I am head weightlifting coach for Team Training Programming and also Blueprint Training Worcester. If you hadn’t gathered I like weightlifting, but when I’m not weightlifting or working I am happiest when I’m with my daughter, fiancée and my dog on staycations and long weekends away by the beach or countryside.
